Where the Spirit is, there is liberty 2 Cor 3:17
As we celebrate this resurrection, let us focus on the complete reason of the liberty that Christ has brought to us. Christ Jesus gave his life so that we can be free. Free from all things in the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21) and free from anything in this life that brings death. Christ Jesus died for us. He took on this sinful flesh and became a man that suffered for us. Philippians 2:8 says it best, “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross”.
He endured by depending on God and living what is written. In other words, he used the Word of God in all situations. He clearly stated to Satan during the times of temptation, “It is written”. It is the Word of God that sets us free when we use it. The Word of God is able to do exceedingly abundant all we ask or think according to the power that work in us (Ephesians 3:20). It is the revealed Word of God through the Spirit that causes us to experience victory in situations. Jesus has secured all our needs in the Spirit. Therefore walking in the Spirit frees us from bondages of this world. I am free because I walk and live in the Spirit. You too can have this freedom if you let the Spirit in. Connect with those who live in God’s truth. Know the Truth and you won’t be deceived.
